Warehouse AssociateThis is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Provides support to full team members in warehouse functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors and Team Lead to ensure facility customer service and productivity expectations are met. Weekend work and OT as needed.Additional Benefits:Paid Time OffMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401KAssociate Referral Program$125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employmentOur associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization!Major Responsibilities:Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouseControl the flow of work to meet departure and receiving timesResolve discrepanciesInteract with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issuesAssist with daily and weekly reportsJointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metricsPrioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirementsOther projects and tasks assigned by SupervisorQualifications:• 2 years of general office experience required• 1 year of customer service experience required• High School diploma or equivalent required• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required• AS400 experience preferred• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.Physical Requirements:-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
