Job description
Receiving ClerkSpitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our team.A week in the life of the Receiving Clerk includes:Processing all receiving documentation on incoming shipments throughout the day.Ensuring documentation of received material is correct.Receiving checked/verified material into SAGE 100 (MAS) operating system on a daily basis.Alerting Purchasing/Supplier/Project Manager of any receiving discrepancies on material quantities, back orders, and/or descriptions (Receiving Log).Updating and maintaining Receiving Log on a daily basis.Scheduling, updating, and managing the daily Receiving Schedule on all inbound deliveries from suppliers.Scanning all receiving paperwork into the Daily Receiving Folder (Accounting) and corresponding department/job folders.Communicating with all levels of Shop and Office Personnel on received material.Assisting Accounts Payable in resolving problem invoices.Updating HOT board on incoming critical material as communicated by Purchasing/Project Management/Shop.Entering warehouse requisitions for needed suppliers and tools.Performing assigned duties and responsibilities according to Company requirements and procedures as directed by Supervisor.Assisting other departments as needed.Complying with all HSE regulations and requirements.Understanding and following safety policies and procedures.Skills (to Pay the Bills):High School diploma or equivalent.Good communications skills.Knowledge of engineering, oil field, and commercial terminology is desirable.Familiar with use of MS Office® software and SAGE 100 (MAS).What's it like to be a part of the Spitzer Family?Spitzer is a fast-paced company that focuses on exceeding our customers' expectations on every project.
