Job description
Receiving CoordinatorThe Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely put away of materials. The Receiving Coordinator handles daily operations and related issues per standard operation procedures and department guidelines. The ultimate goal is to ensure daily targets are achieved and all receiving processes run smoothly and promptly.Job ResponsibilitiesReceives materials and verifies correctness of shipments against documentationEnsure all incoming shipment records are timely recorded in SAP, MES and GR files in the department share folderAble to resolve shipment related issues independently or contact shipper regarding any issuesLab coat management, replacement and in/out barcode scanningReplenishment of daily lab suppliesProvide support to supervisor and coworkers to achieve department goalsReport incidents to supervisor/manager immediately when it occursAny other duties as required to enable us to achieve our targetQualificationsMinimum of High school Diploma or GED is required, Associates' or Bachelor's in Logistics related degree preferredWarehouse related experience and inventory experience is preferredSoftware/ Hardware Knowledge: Basic computer operating skills and use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required.Stocking, loading, shipping and receiving experience preferredDetail oriented, self-initiated, willingness to learn, a team player, ability to adapt to change, strong problem-solving and time management skillsAble to load/unload pallet from truck and/or deliver to AOI other building siteMust be able to lift up 50 poundsBilingual in English and Spanish preferred; Mandarin Chinese a plusOtherConsiderable physical activity – handling of objects that can weigh up to 40 poundsMay be required to stand or sit for prolonged periods of timeFlexible to meet customer demands and production line needsAbility to work overtime as needed during the work week and some weekendsOSHA Approved Forklift Certification is a plus
