Receiving Distribution TechnicianRequired Skills & Experience:High School Diploma or GED1+ year working in a warehouse, distribution, receiving, or inventory environmentExperience performing receiving and put-away functions in a warehouse environmentAbility to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipmentComfortable driving Raymond equipment (certification can be provided on-site)Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the workdayStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyNice to Have Skills & Experience:Current forklift certification (huge plus!)Previous Raymond equipment operating experienceHealthcare distribution center or healthcare supply chain experienceExperience using inventory management systems, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS)Prior experience supporting medical supplies, hospital inventory, or healthcare logistics operationsJob Description:Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Receiving Distribution Technician to support daily warehouse and distribution operations within its healthcare supply chain environment. This individual will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, operating powered industrial equipment, transporting materials throughout the distribution center, and accurately stocking inventory in designated locations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating Raymond equipment in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Candidates with healthcare distribution center experience are highly preferred.Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damageOperate Raymond material handling equipment to transport products throughout the warehousePerform put-away activities by stocking inventory in designated storage locationsMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper product placementUtilize warehouse systems and handheld scanners to track inventory movementFollow all safety procedures and warehouse operating standardsAssist with general distribution center and inventory management activities as needed
