Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.Position Description: The Receiving Inspector is responsible for verifying that incoming materials, components, and documentation conform to engineering drawings, purchase order requirements, and applicable aerospace industry standards. This role ensures all received products meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements before being released to production or inventory. This position plays a key role in inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and overall warehouse efficiency and assists with shipping operations, including packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.This is a 2nd Shift position, Monday – Thursday 4 pm – 2:30 am. This position receives a shift differential of 20%.Essential Responsibilities:Review supplier documentation including: Certificates of Conformance, certificates from suppliers, test reports and special process approvalsVerify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, purchase order requirements, and industry standards (AS9100D, ISO 9001, FAA requirements, as applicable)Use precision measuring instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, Thread gauges,Perform visual inspections for damage, workmanship, and surface finishIdentify nonconforming material and initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs)Clearly document inspection results in quality systems or inspection reportsCommunicate inspection issues with Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production teamsMaintain inspection records in accordance with quality system and regulatory requirements Support audits (internal, customer, FAA, and third?party)Follow all safety, quality, and procedural requirementsAccurately update inventory records in the company's ERP system immediately upon receipt.Investigate and resolve Receiving related issues.Maintain records for all inbound receipts per documented processes as well as non conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments.Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics providers for timely deliveries.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, other staff, and customers.Operating forklift to load/unload trucks.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Basic problem-solving skillsStrong organization skillsAbility to perform detail-oriented work, attention to detail.Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Capable of working in a customer focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.Moderate to advanced computer knowledge with MS Office applications.Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50lbs; push/pull to operate pallet jack.Ability to read and interpret: Engineering drawings and GD&T Specifications and internal proceduresWorking knowledge of AS9100 or similar aerospace quality standardsProficiency with common inspection tools and measurement techniquesStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyBasic computer skills (ERP systems, inspection databases, Microsoft Office)Benefits: Enjet offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, a 401K retirement plan, disability insurance, and more.As an EOE/AA employer, Enjet Aero will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, veteran status, marital status or physical challenges.
