We provide reliable and fast internet to millions of users worldwide, including populations with little or no connectivity, rural communities, aircraft, watercraft, and places where existing services are unreliable, too expensive, or disconnected by natural disasters. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system, thousands of satellites and consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing. The Starlink team is seeking out the best-in-class professionals to maximize Starlink's potential for communities and businesses around the globe.Responsibilities:Perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design requirements through eCerts or physical copiesComplete receiving transactions of incoming product per established proceduresApprove or reject items and documents based on inspection results as requiredCommunicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies, documentation issues, and packaging damageUse electronic MRP system to document issues and route parts and components to proper departmentsResolve nonconformance and documentation issues, support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, and participate in continual improvement and Lean manufacturing initiativesCommunicate and resolve roadblocks timely and accurately to ensure delivery and on-time receipt statusBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalency certificate2+ years of receiving, precision, or metrological inspection experiencePreferred Skills and Experience:Familiar with AS9100 Quality Management System standardExperience with inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and profilometerQuality inspection experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronics fieldAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications using ASME Y14.5Experience with GD&T and use of metrology tools and gaugesExperience with Lean manufacturing principles, such as FIFO, 5S, material flowExperience with Microsoft Office platformAdditional Requirements:Must be willing to work the following hours: 1st shift: Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pmAbility to lift 25 lbs., unassistedMust be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as neededStanding, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are general duties of the jobWilling to work onsite, remote work not consideredITAR Requirements:To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
