About the Role:
Fairfield Dental Group PA is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Fairfield, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a patient-focused dental team where your communication skills and attention to detail will make a real difference every day.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff
Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims and billing
Collect and post patient payments, co-pays, and balances
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical histories
Coordinate patient flow to ensure an efficient and smooth office experience
Salary Negoitable
Requirements:
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred
Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in basic computer applications and office equipment
Professional, dependable, and a true team player
