About the Role
Union City Veterinary Medical Center & Emergency Clinic is looking for a compassionate and organized Evening Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team in Union City, GA. Responsibilities
Greet and check in clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism during evening and emergency hours (3pm–12am)
Answer multi-line phones, triage incoming calls, and direct urgent inquiries to appropriate veterinary staff
Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate client information in practice management software
Process payments, invoices, and end-of-shift financial transactions
Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow
Assist with client education on post-visit care instructions and follow-up appointments
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
Requirements
Prior veterinary receptionist or veterinary clinic experience strongly preferred
Availability to work evening shifts, 3pm–12am, including weekends and holidays
Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (e.g., V-tech, Avimark, Cornerstone, or similar)
Strong multitasking and communication skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to remain calm and compassionate when handling emergency and emotionally sensitive situations
Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and common animal care practices
Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude
