Salon SpecialistWe are looking for an amazing Receptionist and Salon Assistant to join our team 3 days a week. This position will require working full weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday). This is a fully paid hourly position and you're eligible for tips and commissions.Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is an upscale children's salon. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!"Our receptionists should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents.Some of the responsibilities including but not limited to:Greet all guests and provide friendly, prompt, and exceptional serviceManages the salon software, customer appointments and salon traffic flowOperate the Point-of-Sale software systemAbility to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphereSell hair care products and keep retail shelves stockedEnsure the store is clean and tidyReport to Salon Manager and/or Salon OwnerRequirements:Sales experience and able to educate clients on retail productsCustomer service (2 years) preferred.Minimum one year experience.Must work weekends (our busiest and most fun time!).Legal to work in USCompensation: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
