Receptionist PositionUniversity Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. Serving North Texas and surrounding areas, UBH Denton has provided a range of programs treating mental health illnesses and substance abuse issues since 2005. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that puts patient care first while also having the opportunity to grow, learn, and advance in your career.Position Summary: The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing clerical support as requested. In addition, the Receptionist prepares weekday deposits, prepares monthly statements for mailing, assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after-hours shifts if assigned as well as maintain the Receptionist schedule and serve as back up as needed.Job Duties: Follow the facility guest relations program when greeting and assisting all visitors, ensuring all visitors sign the visitor log and obtain a visitor pass. Answer and disseminate all incoming calls on the switchboard in a professional and courteous manner within three rings. Utilize the paging system to announce callers as required. If assigned, provide clerical support to admissions - Collate admission folder as required. Experience: Two (2) years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred.
