The medicine practiced at OnPoint Veterinary Hospital is both broad and detailed, giving you ample opportunity to utilize all your skills. Our practice focuses on core small animal services ranging from routine wellness and prevention to Advanced Care procedures. You will be able to utilize sophisticated Testing and Diagnostics and perform a wide range of Surgical Procedures. Furthermore, we are equipped to handle Urgent Care needs and offer specialized Exotic Pet Care, allowing you to diversify your experience and maintain a varied caseload throughout the week. Middleton, ID provides a welcoming setting where the community values high-quality local services. Our location, situated at 315 S Middleton Rd., offers convenient access for our clients and teammates. The hospital maintains consistent operating hours, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and offering necessary coverage on Saturdays until 5:00 PM. This schedule ensures continuity of care while also allowing you time away from the practice to enjoy the surrounding area.Your Impact as a ReceptionistBe the Director of First Impressions: You'll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.What You'll Bring to the TeamA passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.A positive can-do attitude.Veterinary experience is preferred and strong customer service skills is required.Available to work Wednesday through Saturday or 4 ten hour days (full-time schedule).Responsibilities and BenefitsAs part of the Mission Pet Health family, you get the stability of a local practice backed by the comprehensive benefits and resources of a larger network.
