Record Center SpecialistAre you looking for a hands-on warehouse position with a consistent schedule and competitive pay? Midway Staffing is hiring Record Center Specialists in San Diego, CA. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable with physically demanding warehouse work, handling storage materials, and working in a fast-paced environment.Location: San Diego, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00AM - 3:30PM Pay Rate: $21.00/hourDutiesProcess incoming and outgoing orders for files, boxes, books, binders, backup tapes, and other stored materials.Lift, carry, move, arrange, and organize storage boxes, bins, and totes weighing from approximately 10 lbs. up to 100 lbs.Load and unload boxes manually and using hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.Read labels and accurately process incoming and outgoing orders.Use a computer system to track orders, inventory, and box locations.Operate handheld scanners.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and assist with loading pallets onto trucks.Climb and balance on ladders when retrieving or storing materials.Maintain a safe and organized work area while following established safety procedures.RequirementsAbility to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, crawl, twist, and reach for extended periods.Ability to independently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis.Ability to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry materials, including while navigating inclines, stairs, and changes in walking surfaces.Comfortable working on concrete and uneven surfaces.Ability to safely load, operate, and move hand carts and pallet jacks.Basic English reading and writing skills.Ability to use handheld scanners and basic computer systems.Ability to climb and balance on ladders.Protective safety-toe footwear is required and must meet ASTM F standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best."Midway Staffing offers a comprehensive benefits package offering Medical, Dental, Vision and Life/AD&D benefit options to all eligible employees.Midway Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations.
