Records Specialist Registrar's OfficeFull-TimePrimary ResponsibilitiesResearch and process outgoing official transcript requestsUpdate student records with grade changes, Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) and exam scoresProcess permanent record updates (address, name change, citizenship, social security number)Evaluate college transcripts including domestic, military, and international transcriptsCollaborate with academic departments regarding transfer equivalenciesBuild course articulations onto student's recordMaintain data files in Ellucian Banner, Banner Document Management (BDM) and the Transfer Equivalency System (TES)Monitor multiple departmental email accountsCounsel and provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and the public via phone, email and walk-insMaintain a comprehensive understanding of the Registrar's Office and university policies and proceduresProvide administrative support as needed to Assistant Registrar for Transfer ArticulationRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and AccessDemonstrated ability to learn different and new technologiesExperience using email programsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to handle difficult interactions with diplomacy, tact and in a confidential mannerExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)Work history emphasizes an understanding of customer service and reflects an ability to work with high volume of telephone and customer contactsDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptionsDemonstrated ability to synthesize information to make independent decisions with minimal supervisionAbility to interact effectively with faculty, staff, students and the publicRequired Information & DeadlineApplication Deadline: To ensure full consideration, application materials must be received by September 25, 2026.
