Job description
Mountain Safety DutiesResponsible for all mountain safety activities such as opening and closing trails, removing, reporting and marking hazards, performing trail checks and responding to accidents.Assists with and provides care for both medical and traumatic emergencies for patrons utilizing the ski slope, lifts, lodge or in the immediate area.Efficiently and safely provides the appropriate level of direct emergency patient care; which may include determining the nature of injury and equipment needed for stabilization.Ensures that patrons comply with applicable ski patrol rules and standards.Conducts environmental safety checks of the slopes by continuously reviewing and evaluating terrain to include hazards such as ice, deep snow, downed trees, lifts, snowmaking equipment, etc.
