Job Description
To plan, direct, administer and evaluate programs of therapy as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient's needs. To maintain records and assist with program development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or a related field required. Working experience with Facility Dog Program in a therapy setting preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified or eligible to be certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) required.Why Work at UAB Medicine
