The internship program offers assignments to optimize your skills and experience while giving you exposure to multiple business areas.Join Thrivent’s Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiting Intern. This internship offers exposure to the recruiting lifecycle, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to candidate experience and process improvement initiatives.You’ll work closely with the Advisor Growth Center of Excellence (COE) and regional Advisor Group leaders to support recruiting operations and learn the fundamentals of talent acquisition in a mission-driven organization.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in building and maintaining a pipeline of diverse candidates and tracking their progress through the selection processParticipate in candidate outreach and communication, including scheduling and follow-upsHelp coordinate logistics for onboarding, intern field events and offboardingLearn to use systems like Workday and CRM tools to manage candidate data and reportingCollaborate with recruiting specialists and leaders to identify process improvementsShadow and support the implementation of the Recruiting Playbook and selection best practicesRequirementsCurrent college junior, senior, or recent college graduate.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related fieldStrong organizational and communication skillsInterest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operationsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday or CRM tools is a plusTakes personal responsibility for the quality and content of the work and complies with information confidentiality requirements where applicableEstablishes and maintains effective relationships by collaborating with business partners and teams by fully understanding their needs and consistently meeting their expectationsStrong problem identification and analytical skillsWell-developed written and oral communication skillsProficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Teams, and PowerPointOpen to a flexible, hybrid work environment.Ability to work in the United States for indefinite period without sponsorshipAdditional Program InformationOffering competitive compensationFull intern event program including development, networking, and social activitiesLocationRemote with potential hybrid opportunities in Appleton or Milwaukee, WI, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, and Indianapolis, INThrivent’s long-term growth depends on attracting, rewarding, and retaining people who are committed to helping others thrive with purpose. The applicable hourly wage range for this full-time role is $23.00-$26.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions.
