Job description

Mobile Refrigeration Technician

Are you a technical expert with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a mobile refrigeration technician who excels at tackling challenges and driving progress forward. Hourly pay of $22 - $35 an hour depending on verifiable experience

Get Rolling: What it takes to join NFI:

Must have a valid driver's license

Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license

608 EPA certification is required for this position

Technical or advanced degree or equivalent maintenance experience

Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills

Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.

3-5 years of equivalent maintenance experience

NFI Onsite Refrigeration Technician Expectations & Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues with mobile refrigeration units such as Carrier and Thermo King, using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows

Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of refrigerated trailers

Welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment

608 EPA cert required

Perform DOT inspection per FMCSA guidelines

Physically capable of performing all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
