Utilities Pipe ForemanThe Utilities Pipe Foreman supervises and coordinates the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility piping systems including water, sewer, stormwater, and gas lines. This role involves leading a crew, ensuring compliance with blueprints and safety standards, managing project schedules, and maintaining quality control.Main ResponsibilitiesOversee daily crew activities and work assignmentsInterpret plans and specifications for pipe layout and installationEnsure OSHA compliance and jobsite safety standardsCoordinate with other trades and project managementInspect completed work for quality and accuracyMaintain material and equipment recordsTroubleshoot on-site challenges and adapt solutionsQualifications5+ years of experience in utilities/underground constructionProven leadership and supervisory skillsKnowledge of piping systems, grading, and site utility workValid driver's license; CDL preferredSafety certifications (OSHA, First Aid)Ability to read construction blueprintsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentWork EnvironmentOutdoor work in varying weather conditions; physical demands include standing, walking, and directing crew operations.Colas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
