Refrigeration SupervisorPosition at JBS USARefrigeration SupervisorResume required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume.Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Refrigeration Supervisor for JBS, Lenoir, NC.This role is essential to ensuring that all refrigeration aspects of the plant are operating accordingly. This position will manage and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department.The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented and thrive on supporting a busy, fast-paced team. This role offers excellent growth potential!Responsibilities & Essential Duties:Schedules powerhouse and refrigeration, maintain the department for optimal facility operation.Prepares and supervises preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to maintain all systems under the powerhouse and ammonia refrigeration departments.Reviews utilities reports.Addresses issues that arise which could adversely impact the operational performance of the facility.Insures that all OSHA, PSM standards are maintainedTrains personnel in proper operation of equipment and works toward RETA certification for all reports.Manages and maintains the maintenance budget for refrigeration.Ensures all systems are operated in compliance with OSHA, ASHRAE, and PSM policies and procedures.Prepared for On-call for 24 hour coverage.Oversees all projects related to the plant ammonia system.Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of technical school training or high school with comparable experience. BS/BA Degree in Applied SciencesBASIC SKILLS:Prefer a minimum of 5 - 10 years in ammonia refrigeration experience.RETA certification a plus.Must have demonstrated ability to train and supervise subordinates.Must be able to work well with management personnel.Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). SAP experience preferred.Ability to adjust schedules at times to meet operational needs.As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
