BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community within our Float Team.
nPosition Details:
nnnFacility: BayCare Health System - Respiratory Care Services

nnLocation: CENTRAL: SJW, SJCH, SJM, SJS
n
nnStatus: Full Time, Exempt: No
n
nnShift Hours: 6:30PM - 7:00AM
n
nnShift: Nights
n
nnWeekend Work: Every Other
n
nnOn Call: No
n
n nThe Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.
nResponsibilities Include:
nnnDelivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
n
nnPerforms noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
n
nnPerform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care
n
nnFloat to regional hospitals when needed in Hillsborough County
n
n nCertifications and Licensures Required:
nnnRRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
n
nnActive NBRC Credential for RRT
n
nnCPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
n
nnNRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months
n
nnACLS (Cardiovascular)
n
nnPALS (Pediatric) - Preferred
n
n nEducation Required:
nnnTechnical Respiratory Therapy
n
nnAssociate's Respiratory Therapy - Preferred
n
n nExperience Required:
nn6 Months Respiratory
n nSpecific Skills Required:
