Job description
BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at St. Joseph's Hospital South. This innovative facility is specially designed to make patients and visitors as comfortable as possible during their hospital experience and offers a variety of amenities.
nPosition Details:
nFacility: BayCare Health System - Respiratory Care Services
nLocation: St. Josephs South
nStatus: Full Time, Exempt: No
nShift Hours: 6:30PM - 7:00AM
nShift: Nights
nWeekend Work: Every Other
nOn Call: No
nThe Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.
nResponsibilities Include:
nnnDelivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.

nnPerforms noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
n
nnPerform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care
n
n nCertifications and Licensures Required:
nnnRRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
n
nnActive NBRC Credential for RRT
n
nnCPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
n
nnNRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months
n
nnACLS (Cardiovascular)
n
nnPALS (Pediatric) - Preferred
n
n nEducation Required:
nnnTechnical Respiratory Therapy
n
nnAssociate's Respiratory Therapy - Preferred
n
n nExperience Required:
nn6 Months Respiratory
