Position Summary
The Registered Vascular and Cardiac Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physicians, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. The Vascular/Cardiac Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or hold RVT and RDCS Certification.
Minimum Experience Vascular and cardiac experience
Required Registration/License/Certification RVT and/or RDCS certified or eligible and BLS certified upon hire
Preferred Education Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Preferred Experience 1 year vascular and/or cardiac experience
Preferred Registration/License/Certification RVT RDCS and BLS
Business Hours. Monday-Friday. No Holiday, No weekend.
