Croda, a global leader in life sciences and consumer care, is seeking a highly experienced regional business director (pharma) to join its team in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey . This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Croda’s pharmaceutical and crop care businesses across North America.

Qualifications
Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related technical discipline
Proven experience leading regional or global business units in pharma (ingredients, CDMO, excipients)
Exposure to vaccines, adjuvants, and novel excipients preferred
Strong record in developing business strategies for organic and inorganic growth
People leadership with the ability to coach, inspire, and influence regional/global teams
Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer expectations, and R&D collaboration
Proficiency in data analytics, continuous improvement, and commercial innovation
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a 3–5 year regional business strategy aligned with Croda’s global priorities
Lead sales, marketing, and business development teams to deliver KPIs
Full P&L accountability for revenue, margins, and cost centers
Drive innovation and pipeline growth across pharma and crop care
Oversee pricing strategy, forecasting, and working capital management
Build strong customer relationships and align with R&D and manufacturing functions
Use digital, AI, and data tools to drive commercial excellence
Identify market trends and emerging opportunities for differentiation
Partner with R&D for new product launches and formulations
