In this role, you will oversee transportation functions across a defined region, supervise drivers, manage dispatch operations, and ensure compliance with DOT and company regulations.Founded in 1919, Quinn Company sells, services, and rents a full line of construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment, along with diesel and natural gas engines. As a Caterpillar dealer, Quinn combines local agility with global support from a Fortune 50 organization.Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $70,304 – $81,319The Quinn Advantage: Your Total RewardsCompetitive salaryQuinn's Profit Sharing Program401(k) Plan with Company MatchMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansHealth & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance & Wellness ProgramsHolidays, Vacation Pay, and Sick PayLife & Accident InsuranceLong?Term Disability InsuranceCross?divisional advancement opportunitiesEmployee recognition programsFederal Credit Union membershipReady to lead dispatch operations across your region?Join Quinn Company and help deliver exceptional transportation support to customers and internal teams.Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:Manage Regional Dispatch Operations: Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickup of equipment across Quinn business units.Coordinate Equipment Movement: Use transportation and rental software to plan, assign, and direct workflow.Optimize Staffing & Scheduling: Evaluate staffing needs, adjust work schedules, and manage workforce assignments.Resolve Transportation Issues: Communicate with customers and employees to research and resolve routing, hauling, and delivery challenges.Control Costs: Monitor outside hauling usage, overtime expenses, and allocate transportation costs to the appropriate departments.Provide Training: Schedule and track employee training, including online courses (Pure Safety, Dealer Performance Center, etc.).Ensure DOT Compliance: Confirm driver completion of BIT inspections, review logbooks, and ensure adherence to vehicle maintenance schedules.Manage Documentation: Collect vehicle inspection reports and submit required documentation promptly.Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safety?first culture; ensure all accidents or injuries are documented quickly and accurately.Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate employees, complete PADS reviews on time, and hold EOS feedback meetings to create action plans.Promote Quinn Values: Foster a culture of Integrity, Teamwork, Respect, Quality, and Service while inspiring excellence and loyalty.Partner With HR: Work closely with HR to support staffing, employee relations, and business objectives.Travel Regionally: Visit each branch in your assigned region at least three times per year.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervise regional transportation employeesInterview, hire, and train staffPlan, assign, and direct daily work activitiesEvaluate performance, reward and discipline employeesAddress complaints and resolve operational issuesWhat You Need to Succeed:Associate degree (AA or AS) or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of three years of related industry experienceStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of DOT regulations and transportation operationsAbility to manage dispatching software, logistics tasks, and fleet coordinationCommitment to safety, teamwork, and service excellenceQuinn is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V/DVQuinn Group, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, all applicable veteran status or disabled veteran status.
