Job description
Join a centralized staffing team as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN), providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding children's hospitals).
You will work three 12-hour night shifts with flexible start times, supporting 11 hospitals, and rotating weekends and holidays. This role offers system-wide exposure, professional growth, and a supportive environment grounded in collaboration and connection.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing direct nursing care in emergency departments, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention.
Utilizing evidence-based practice and nursing standards to enhance patient outcomes.
Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while participating in ongoing professional development.
Mentoring colleagues and fostering a healthy work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience; trauma and float experience preferred.
Current RN license in Missouri and ability to obtain Illinois license.
Willingness to travel between facilities in MO and IL.
Strong adaptability, confidence in nursing practice, and excellent communication skills.
Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred.
