Regional Sales ManagerOur client is a well-established manufacturer and distributor of high-performance motion control, gearbox, and power transmission solutions serving a broad range of industrial end markets. Following recent private equity investment, the business has entered an exciting phase of growth, including international acquisitions and expansion of its North American operations. Headquartered in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, the organisation combines the stability of an established business with the agility and growth opportunities of a rapidly expanding company. The company supplies highly engineered products used in automation systems, manufacturing equipment, assembly lines, motors, aircraft applications, and other industrial environments. As the organisation continues to grow its portfolio and customer base, it is investing heavily in sales talent to support long-term expansion plans. This role is based in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, includes training in the Chicago area, and offers the opportunity to help establish and develop a key territory from the Mt. Prospect, Illinois office.Job DescriptionAs the Regional Sales Manager, you will:Drive profitable sales growth across a designated territory.Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market penetration.Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.Work closely with distributors, OEMs, integrators, and end-user customers.Provide technical product consultation on automation, gearbox, motion control, and power transmission solutions.Review customer requirements and develop pricing, quotations, and bid proposals.Identify opportunities to expand product penetration within existing accounts.Collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations teams to deliver customer solutions.Travel approximately 40-50% throughout the assigned region.Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and CRM updates.Support new product introductions and strategic growth initiatives.Represent the company at industry events, customer visits, and trade shows.Deliver accurate territory reporting to the National Sales Manager.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
