Job description
Summary
The Regional VP Retail, South is a field-based executive responsible for driving sales, P&L and retail strategy across the Southern market. This leader will motivate and develop store teams, implement distribution and clienteling strategies, and ensure brand standards are delivered consistently. The role is travel-intensive and focuses on both day-to-day operations and long-term market planning.
Responsibilities
Lead multi-unit sales performance, set regional objectives, and implement sales plans to grow revenue.
Monitor KPIs and create store-level action plans to improve performance and productivity.
Develop succession planning and individual development plans with store management and HR.
Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to maintain regional profitability.
Identify and evaluate real estate opportunities and provide market insights to HQ.
Drive client relationship management, VIP development, and region-specific clienteling activities and events.
Collaborate with merchandising and visual teams to align assortment, floor sets, and visual storytelling with commercial goals.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
Proven multi-unit luxury retail leadership with P&L responsibility.
Strong business acumen including open-to-buy, stock management, assortment planning, and expense control.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills with a track record of building sales organizations.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to analyze market data and KPIs.
Ability to travel approximately 70-80% of the time.
