Your day may include:Providing 1:1 ABA therapyImplementing individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by a BCBAHelping learners develop communication, social, academic, self-help, and daily living skillsTeaching skills through play, structured activities, and everyday interactionsCollecting data and documenting learner progressSupporting learners through challenging behaviors using their individualized behavior plansCommunicating and collaborating with BCBAs, team members, and familiesParticipating in ongoing training and professional developmentCompleting required session documentation accurately and on timeMaintaining client confidentiality and following HIPAA and company policiesWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for people who are dependable, energetic, compassionate, and ready to make a difference in the lives of children.Previous ABA experience is a plus, but you do not need to already be an RBT to apply. Individual starting pay is determined based on relevant experience, education, certification status, qualifications, and other job-related factors.RequirementsQualifications/Educational Requirements:1. High School diploma, preferably some college2. Registered Behavior Technician, or ability to be board certified within three months of hire3. Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicaid, Waiver and Private Insurance experience preferred4. Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with people at all levels of the organization5. Strong leadership experience with great interpersonal and people skills6. Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills and abilities7. Demonstrated ability to develop programs that fit strategically with ACSS goalsPhysical Requirements:1. Must be physically able to respond appropriately at all times when working directly with a patient2. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs3. Must be able to react quickly to behavior outbursts in children and young adults4. Must be able to effectively use'response blocking' procedures to protect self and clients from injury at all times when working5. Must be able to utilize crisis management (e.g., manual restraint) procedures where/when needed or directed6. Must be able to be on your feet a minimum of four hours per day
