RBT Job Description
Carry On Therapy is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) across Tennessee. We provide ABA services that focus on real life, real families, and meaningful progress. Our team values collaboration, flexibility, and ethical practice, and we strive to create a supportive environment where both clients and staff can grow.
This position is for candidates who already hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $20–$24 per hour starting pay, based on experience. RBTs with additional experience may discuss higher pay.
Hours: Full-Time (30+ hours per week) or Part-Time
Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on availability

Hire-On Bonus
A $250 hire-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates who:
Hold an active RBT certification
Live in or are willing to actively work in the service area for the position
Have evening availability
Are available for a full-time schedule or evening hours 4-8pm
Bonus eligibility will be reviewed and discussed during the hiring process based on current staffing needs. Candidates who qualify will receive the $250 hire-on bonus after successfully serving a client for 45 days.
Referral Bonus
We offer a $200 referral bonus for RBTs or BCBAs referred to Tennessee or Nebraska. The bonus is paid once the referral joins our team and remains employed for at least 60 days.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, or clinic settings
Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Collect and record data on client progress
Collaborate with families and clinical team members
Maintain a positive, supportive, and safe session environment
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications
Active RBT certification (required at time of application)
High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
Experience working with children or in ABA is helpful
Ability to pass a background check
Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
