Job description
Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team of professionals. The RBT will work closely under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral programs, aiming to improve the skills and well‑being of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is essential in facilitating and measuring the progress of clients towards their behavioral goals.
Key Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA in a consistent and reliable manner.
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior as per the program requirements.
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, including but not limited to, home, school, and community environments.
Assist in conducting assessments as needed and provide feedback about progress and areas needing attention.
Participate in regular training and supervision sessions to enhance skill set and maintain certification requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and program updates.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework in psychology or related field is a plus.
Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician certification.
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have reliable transportation, as travel to various locations may be required.
Flexibility in work hours to meet client needs, including potential evenings and weekends.
