Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)Apex is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional patient and provider experience and goes far beyond traditional chairside support.As an RDA at an Apex-supported practice, you are essential to delivering a high-quality clinical experience. Success in this role means being clinically strong, efficient, and a reliable partner to your doctor and staying one step ahead by ensuring every patient interaction is seamless and professional.You'll work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement are expected. At Apex, you'll have the opportunity to grow, take on increasing responsibility, and contribute to a team committed to excellence.Core responsibilities include:Support clinical procedures with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detailAnticipate doctor needs and assist proactively to maintain smooth, uninterrupted procedure flowPrepare operatories, instruments, and materials in advance to ensure on-time, efficient patient careCapture high-quality diagnostics (e.g., x-rays, scans) that are complete, accurate, and ready for reviewDeliver a positive patient experience by communicating clearly, providing reassurance, and reinforcing treatment and post-op instructionsMaintain strict infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols at all timesManage operatory flow, room turnover, and supply readiness to support a productive clinical scheduleCollaborate with team members to keep the day running smoothly and step in where neededIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, organization, and overall team efficiencyJob requirements:Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification and all required state credentials2+ years of dental assisting experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferredPositive, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindsetStrong communication skills with the ability to educate and build trust with patientsDemonstrated ability (or strong desire) to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environmentDetail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, accurate workReliable, accountable, and able to take ownership of responsibilitiesTeam-oriented with a willingness to support others and adapt to changing needsCoachable with a growth mindset and willingness to continuously improveBenefits:PTO and paid holidaysRelaxed, friendly, and fun culture filled with smart colleagues across the entire organizationOpportunity to play a role in the success of a rapidly growing companyCompetitive payComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits401K plan with up to 4% matchingPaid training
