Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive preventive care in a general dentistry practice serving a mixed patient population. The hygienist will work with rotating provider assignments and use digital radiography, intraoral scanners, electronic periodontal charting, and practice management software. The role includes continuing education support, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and dental prophylaxis.
Capture and process radiographic images using digital radiography.
Provide fluoride treatments and oral health education.
Complete periodontal charting using electronic systems.
Document treatment and maintain accurate electronic dental records.
Apply infection control procedures and sterilize instruments.
Coordinate clinical care with dentists through rotating provider assignments.
Use intraoral scanners and practice management software as part of patient care.
Required Qualifications
Entry-level experience in dental hygiene.
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene.
Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with dental prophylaxis and periodontal charting.
Knowledge of dental radiography and electronic dental records.
Experience providing patient education and patient care.
Knowledge of infection control procedures.
Experience with local anesthetic administration.
Strong communication skills.
