Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
About the Role Our growing, high-quality dental practice is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. You will step directly into a full, active patient schedule and deliver comprehensive preventive care while working with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive clinical team.
Pay Structure: $50.00 / hour guaranteed base rate OR 30% of Net Production (paid whichever is greater each pay period $50/hr serves as your consistent minimum floor)
Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM
Patient Book: Full column ready upon start
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Preventative Care
Perform professional dental prophylaxes, scaling and root planing, fluoride applications, and dental sealants.
Take digital radiographs, intraoral photos, and record accurate periodontal charting.
Screen patients for oral cancer, periodontal disease, and other oral health conditions.
Maintain strict sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
Patient Education & Relationship Building
Educate patients on oral hygiene habits, preventive techniques, and the link between oral and systemic health.
Clearly explain hygiene treatment plans and restorative care recommendations.
Foster a warm, welcoming environment to reduce patient anxiety and maintain strong recall rates.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required:
Active State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Current CPR / BLS certification.
Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Ability to manage a busy patient volume with efficiency and care.
Preferred:
Local Anesthesia & Nitrous Oxide certification.
Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
