Job description
Part Time Registered Dietitian Opportunity
Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is looking for a part time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and/or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements. This position will support Cardiac Rehab and Inpatient RD's.
The Shifts:
On Site
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
24 hours a week
Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend)
Holiday Rotation

Applicable Experience: Less than 1 yearLicensed Dietician (KS) - Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services, Licensed Dietician (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Registered Dietitian - Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)Bachelor's Degree
