Registered Dietitian (RD) – Correctional Healthcare
Location: Stockton, CA
Pay: $55–$58/hour, based on experience
Care Career is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) for an assignment in a secure correctional healthcare setting in Stockton, California.
The Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition services to an adult patient population, including nutritional assessments, development of individualized nutrition care plans, therapeutic diet recommendations, patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements:
Active Registered Dietitian credential in good standing
Must meet all California requirements for practice as a Registered Dietitian
Ability to complete all required facility credentialing and background screening
Previous experience in correctional healthcare, acute care, long-term care, behavioral health, or another institutional healthcare setting preferred
Experience completing nutritional assessments and developing therapeutic diet plans
Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a structured, secure healthcare environment
Assignment Details:
$55–$58/hour based on experience
Stockton, CA
Secure correctional healthcare setting
Assignment contingent upon successful credentialing, background screening, and facility clearance
Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse adult patient population and collaborating closely with medical, nursing, behavioral health, and facility staff to support safe and appropriate nutritional care.
