About This Role
The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals looking to expand their knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
Perform age and disease specific assessments independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions.
Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.
Requirements
Education:
Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required.
BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
Experience:
Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
