Job description
Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Telemetry Medsurg, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities:
Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
Ensuring safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaboration.
Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
Serving as preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.
Promoting evidence-based practice, participating in data collection, and adhering to policies and safety standards.
Proactively planning patient care across care continuum and contributing to protocol development for optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Completion of an approved nursing program with clinical hours.
Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience in direct patient care is preferred.
