Job description
Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Telemetry Medsurg provides high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative, evidence-based environment. They are a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized, safe, and compassionate care that respects cultural diversity and patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using clinical standards and critical thinking.
Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care, partnering with patients and families to promote understanding and engagement.
Coordinate safe, efficient care delivery through effective communication and documentation, supporting performance improvement initiatives.
Participate in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold nursing competencies and ethical standards.
Promote evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Current RN licensure, BLS certification, and multi-state licensure (if applicable).
