Job description
Role Overview
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and care team members, ensuring a supportive and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in performance improvement initiatives
Maintain professional competence and support shared governance
Develop others and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards
Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Current RN license (Georgia or multi-state compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications preferred in select units, to be obtained within 6 months
Preferred: Bachelor’s of Nursing and applicable national specialty certification
