Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a specialty acute care (Med-Surg) setting, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Prioritizes wellness, evidence-based practice, and safety at the point of care; models proficiency through precepting new staff; contributes to a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment; supports specialty education and competency validation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active RN licensure
BLS certification
6 months nursing experience
within 1 year of chemotherapy/immunotherapy ONS certification
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Key Duties:
Deliver high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with healthcare team
Promote patient safety
Participate in ongoing education to enhance clinical skills
