# Registered Nurse - Acute Care MedSurg Oncology - Charge Nurse - FT NightsAzza HealthCare Agency · Austell, GAFULL-TIMEPosted Sep 24, 2026## Job DescriptionRole Overview: The RN Clinical Charge Nurse leads daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities • Directs staff activities, makes patient assignments, and manages patient flow, discharges, and bed availability. • Rounds on patients, evaluates care quality, and ensures adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols. • Acts as a resource for team members, mentors less experienced nurses, and promotes professional development. • Coordinates interdisciplinary communication, collaborates with physicians, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. • Monitors resources, manages equipment, and participates in planning to optimize care delivery. • Supports evidence-based practice, research, and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. • Valid RN license (multi-state preferred); BLS required; ACLS preferred. • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; clinical leadership experience is a plus. • Strong clinical, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. • Ability to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and foster a collaborative environment.## Additional DetailsCity: AustellState: GeorgiaCountry: US
