Job description
Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Delivers personalized care, partners with patients and families, and promotes safety and quality outcomes. Coordinates interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and performance improvement activities. Supports professional development by mentoring peers and participating in research and protocols. Ensures compliance with healthcare policies, standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an active RN license (single state or multi-state Compact), BLS certification, and completion of an accredited nursing program. Prior clinical care experience is preferred. Demonstrates critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to ethical standards. Ability to adapt care to diverse populations and uphold professional standards.
