Job description
Role:
Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating patient care in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities include:
Performing assessments and addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
Developing and coordinating individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
Delivering direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
Evaluating intervention effectiveness and adjusting care plans accordingly.
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
Troubleshooting equipment and participating in evidence-based practice decisions.
Actively participating in team efforts, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing professional development.
Key Duties:
Provide holistic nursing care, coordinate interdisciplinary interactions, ensure safety, and contribute to a supportive environment in a newly renovated unit with private rooms. The role involves working in a calm, peaceful setting focused on palliative, hospice, and medical-surgical patients, with a flexible schedule emphasizing days, weekends, and holidays.
