Job description
Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a neuroscience-focused unit, including neurology, neurosurgery, epilepsy, and general medical/surgical patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs, ensuring safety and satisfaction.
Perform assessments within scope of practice and coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
Evaluate nursing interventions and adjust plans based on patient responses.
Collaborate proactively with physicians and staff to address patient needs.
Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
Contribute to quality, safety, and team goals through active participation and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and clinical situations.
Key Duties: Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care, coordinate patient-centered plans, engage in safety and quality initiatives, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves working night shifts, with rotations for holidays and weekends, in a Magnet-recognized facility committed to excellence and innovation.
