Job description
Position Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing activities based on patient needs and standards.
Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics, while promoting compassionate interactions.
Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and families.
Monitor and revise care plans according to patient responses and outcomes.
Participate in unit-based decision-making, evidence-based practices, and safety initiatives.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (required).
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and prioritize patient needs.
Additional Information: Work involves a night shift schedule with flexible self-scheduling, supporting a diverse team on a 28-bed unit. The role emphasizes safety, professional growth, and a patient-centered approach within a collaborative environment.
