About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Bone Marrow Transplant unit at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing practices and ensuring safe, individualized patient care. What You'll Do
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care.
Requirements
Education:
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience:
BMT nursing experience is required
Licenses & Certifications:
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) is preferred
