About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab provides direct care to patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Location: Perth Amboy, NJ
Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.
Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Requirements
Education:
Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire
Experience:
6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in New Jersey
BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
