Position: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry
Department: Med/Surg‑Cardiac Telemetry 2A
Schedule: 32Hours (11p.m.–7a.m.) with rotating weekends.
About the Role
Boston Medical Center (BMC) is a Magnet®‑recognized, safety‑net hospital that provides comprehensive cardiac telemetry care. As an RN in our Cardiac Telemetry Department, you will deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care to a diverse population of cardiac patients in a 32‑hour shift (11p.m.–7a.m.) with rotating weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients
Communicate with health‑care team members, patients, and families
Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to inter‑professional colleagues
Update and manage patient records, enter and interpret computerized data
Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
Assist leadership in quality‑improvement projects
Education and Experience
Diploma, ASN or BSN in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years if not already earned
Current RN license in Massachusetts and BLS required; ACLS preferred
Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred
