Job description
Role: Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg unit
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to adult cardiac and medical-surgical patients
Perform patient assessment and monitor cardiac activity
Recognize arrhythmias and administer appropriate interventions
Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recovery processes
Utilize advanced technology and follow evidence-based protocols
Contribute to quality and safety initiatives
Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications & Skills
Valid Registered Nurse license
Strong clinical assessment and cardiac monitoring skills
Ability to recognize and respond to arrhythmias
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic setting
Commitment to safety and quality care
