Job description
The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Registered Nurse provides patient-centered pre- and post-operative care to cardiovascular and medical-surgical patients in a progressive care unit. In collaboration with providers and the care team, this RN performs ongoing assessments, administers cardiac medications and treatments, monitors telemetry, documents in the medical record, and responds to changes in condition. The role supports patient education, safety, and recovery in an on-site hospital setting.
